Our friends at the Brentwood Police Department stopped by this morning to talk about safety. We learned so much about how to remain safe and how the police help us do so.
In addition, the kind officers helped me out by discussing with all of the classes the importance of being nice to our friends. They stressed the importance of not hitting, biting, kicking or pushing our friends! They made sure that the kids all understood that there are consequences to those types of actions. With the recent number of incidents we have seen I wanted to really make a statement about this behavior...... It's safe to say the point was made LOUD and CLEAR!
